The Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, has inspected the Ultra Modern Shopping Complex in Magboro, constructed by his administration, ahead of its official commissioning. During the inspection, Amb. Ogunsola warned traders selling on setbacks and under the Magboro bridge to vacate the area and relocate to the market center, citing safety concerns and traffic obstruction.
Amb. Ogunsola also emphasized the importance of maintaining clean environments, particularly along the Mowe, Ibafo, and Magboro axis, as the local government is a gateway to neighboring states and local governments. He urged residents to desist from indiscriminate disposal of refuse.
The council boss appreciated Community Development Associations (CDAs) and Community Development Committees (CDCs) for partnering with the government in providing social amenities. He encouraged others to emulate this initiative, highlighting the success of public-private partnerships in developing council areas.
During his inspection of Oke-Afa and Magboro Health Centers, Amb. Ogunsola ordered immediate repairs of a leaking roof at the Magboro health center. He assured Oke-Afa, Magboro, and Gateway Spark light Health posts of deploying more health personnel to enhance manpower productivity. The council boss reiterated his commitment to bringing a well-equipped general hospital to Maba Community, following the community's provision of 2 acres of land for the project.
Amb. Ogunsola's inspection visit demonstrates his administration's commitment to developing infrastructure, promoting cleanliness, and enhancing healthcare services in Obafemi Owode Local Government. The official commissioning of the Ultra Modern Shopping Complex is expected to boost economic activities in the area.
