As Nigeria marks her 26th Democracy Day Anniversary, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola FCPA, Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, has released a stirring message, calling on Nigerians to reflect on their collective progress and reaffirm their commitment to a united and prosperous Nation.
In his Democracy Day message, Amen. Ogunsola commended the collective will of Nigerians, highlighting the power of their voices in shaping the Nation's democratic journey. He paid tribute to the nation's heroes, whose sacrifices have paved the way for the country's progress.
"We commemorate the collective will of our people, the power of our voices, and the enduring journey towards a more just and inclusive Nation," Ogunsola stated. "Let us honor the labour of our heroes, whose sacrifices shall not be in vain."
The Executive Chairman emphasized the importance of leaders serving with truth and integrity, stressing that this is crucial for the Nation's prosperity. "May our democracy continue to thrive, guided by leaders who serve with truth and integrity," he said.
Ogunsola also called for unity and peace, urging Nigerians to emerge stronger and more united. "May our Nation prosper in unity and peace, and may we emerge stronger and more united," he stated.
