The Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area in Lagos, Prince Musibau Adekunle Asafa has passed away after a prolonged illness. His death was announced by his Chief Press Secretary, Bodunrin Ayodele, in a statement shared on Facebook. Asafa's leadership was marked by a commitment to improving the lives of his constituents, and his contributions to the Local Government will be deeply missed.
Cause of Death:Prolonged illness
Asafa was a respected politician, leader, and dedicated public servant. He previously served as Chairman of the old Ojo Local Government under the Zero party during the Abacha regime.
The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government Area, Abdul-Hamed Salawu, condoled with Oto-Awori LCDA over Asafa's demise, wishing his soul to rest in perfect peace.
