The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Party Cordinator in Enugu East area of Enugu State, Tochukwu Fabian Eze has cried out over the safety of his life following a series of attacks by unknown assailants.
Tochukwu Eze, who resides at 11 Ozoekwem Street Abakpa Nike Enugu State, was the State APGA Party Cordinator and the close Aide to Chief Dons Udeh governorship aspirant for Enugu State in the 2023 general elections, who was murdered by unknown gunmen
It could be recalled that the governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the 2023 general election in Enugu State, Chief Dons Udeh, was reportedly found dead
Udeh, who was said to have got missing, was reportedly found dead a few days later at the 9th Mile area of the state, barely four days after.
Udeh, an engineer, was a former Enugu State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party and had remained a member of the party till he defected to APGA to pursue his political ambition to become the governor of Enugu State.
It was also gathered that Udeh's death was said to be politically motivated as an eyewitness, who reported his abduction alleged that his abductors are seriously armed to the teeth during the operation.
A source who pleaded for anonymity said Tochukwu Fabian Eze became the target of assassination because of his closeness to Udeh and due to his political influence.
He had on several occasions escaped
His escape infuriated his attackers who ferociously launched a serious attack on him at different times.
He escaped assassilatiion in his car shortly after the demise of his boss, Chief Dons Udeh
"And after some months, he also escaped assassination while his attackers invaded his home, where he jumped through the fence"
Another source said while his attackers were determined to assassinate Fabian was because he was able to recognize some of the abductors of his master, a move that let Udeh's killers to be on his trail and since then ,nobody knows his whereabout
According to a report Tochukwu Fabian Eze on several times received a disturbing telephone call from an unidentified men who introduced themselves as “Jack, from Enugu East Local Government Area.”
According to him, the callers threatened that there was nowhere he could run to, he was going to be killed because he already knew much about them and the death of his boss.
“On several occasions his house has been burgled, he has been attacked both physically and spiritually.
.He said that the threat to his life had become so consistent that he needed to draw the attention of the relevant bodies to the frightening development.
He lamented that he could no longer sleep with his two eyes closed for fear of being attacked by people trailing him.
According to the source , they believed that those that want to cut Tochukwu life short were within the country’s security and political architecture.
It was also described that, those they suspected to be behind Tochukwu travails are untouchables in the society.
These people who believe that they are untouchable, presumably at the corridors of security and political power, especially in Enugu State, with national connection, have, for the same reason of actualising my assassination, laid ambush on his ways, and have tracked all his movements. There have been constant threats to his life from them, among countless other violations of his inalienable human rights, the results of which they relay to their said ‘foot- soldiers’ and ‘ground- troops’.
