Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez (BOA) celebrates Christians faithful within the Local Government Area on the occasion of the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hon. Balogun in a statement signed by Adenike Olowe Information/Public Relations Officer, ASLG emphasized that everyone should emulate the spirit in the celebration of Christmas, which is to show love, peace, joy and sacrifice to one another.
The Number one citizen of the Local Government stated that Christmas is the season of love, meekness and sharing of gifts as demonstrated by the Wise Men during the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and it is worthy of emulation.
Hon. Balogun thereafter enjoined all and sundry to celebrate in modesty, pray for peaceful coexistence amongst one and another in a secure environment for the lives and properties of all in the Country.
