HON. BALOGUN CHARGES NEWLY INAUGURATED SUPERVISORS, SPECIAL ADVISERS TO LIVE UP TO EXPECTATIONS, SEE THEIR APPOINTMENT AS A CALL TO SERVICE

The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Afeez Olaniyi Balogun has charged the newly inaugurated Supervisors and Special Advisers to live up to expectations and see their appointments as a call to service. 

Hon. Balogun gave this charge during the inauguration of Supervisors and Special Advisers on Wednesday 23rd of April, 2025 at the Olusegun Multipurpose Hall of the Local Government, Ake, Abeokuta.

The Executive Chairman urged them to put in their best to justify the confidence people repose in them. He stated that the newly appointees should strive to contribute their own quota to the advancement of the Local Government so as to have their names boldly written in the history book of the Premier Local Government.

The appointed Supervisors include:

1. Engr. Abidemi Lawal

2. Bar. Kehinde Ayodeji

3. Mr. Amerinso Waheed

4. Mr. Moshood Sodiya

5. Mr. Egunjobi Faruq

While the Special Advisers are:

1. Mr. Oyeleke Koyejo

2. Mr. Semiu Muftau

3. Mrs. Balogun Jemilat and

4. Hon. Ogundimu Wasiu

 

In his speech, The Local Government Chairman appreciated the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON   for pursuance of the policy of All Progressives Congress (APC) and providing an enabling environment, aimed at giving unique and necessary developmental programmes to the people at the grassroots.

He also thanked all the party Stalwarts,  Leaders and Career Officers for their unflinching support and efforts towards the success of the epoch event. 

In their goodwill messages, the Chairman of APC Ogun Central, Chief Sunday Sowunmi, the APC party Chairman, Hon. Henry Adetunji Fagbenro, the former Local Government Chairman, Hon. Olawoyin Babaosun and the Alawoerin of Egbaland, Chief Nurudeen Olaleye urged the newly inaugurated Supervisors and Special Advisers to give the Chairman their maximum support and see the opportunity given to them as a challenge to serve and do more.
