Mr. Rufus Alani Oluranti Olaleye bowed out of active service as the Head of Local Government Administration on Friday 23rd May, 2025 at the Local Government Secretariat, Ake Abeokuta.
The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Afeez Olaniyi Balogun congratulated Mr. Rufus Alani Olaleye on his retirement and 60th birthday celebration.
The Local Government Boss described the celebrant as a dedicated and hard working HOLGA whose impact and contribution cannot be erased in the history of the Premier Local Government.
He thereafter acknowledged the celebrant's cooperation, team work and resilience which has been a pillar of support to the present administration.

Similarly, the Permanent Secretary of Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, Engr. Olanike Ogunbona, FNSE showered encomium on Mr. Olaleye whom she described as an astute administrator, solution provider and goal getter.
The climax of the programme was the handing over and induction of the celebrant to the family and other retirees which was performed amidst funfair.
In their goodwill messages, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Oluranti Ogunmoku and retired HOLGA, Mr. Olorumbe Aregbesola congratulated the celebrant for a glorious landing, stated that the beauty of service is to work and retire, either by length of service or age. They therefore, prayed that the Lord should grant him long life to enjoy his retirement.
In his vote of thanks, the celebrant expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty and the people who graced the event to honour him from far and near and prayed that joyous occasions will not cease in their lives, wishing them journey mercies back to their various destinations.
The occasion was graced by people from various backgrounds, professions and social statuses.
